We use the best British Sedgwick bridle leathers. Our leather dog accessories are manufactured using full grain leather hides supplied by Abbey England, awarded a Royal Warrant to supply the King’s mounted Royal Guard, and if our leather is good enough for the King’s horses, we are sure your precious pooch will approve!
Check out our special editions “The Doctor Martin” and “The Terry collars”, beautifully crafted with stunning saddle stitch effect. Our classic dog collars and leads are currently available in black, Aussie nut brown or dark racing green, we also have Dark Havanna Veg Tan Leather. The available widths are 15, 20, 25, 30, 40mm (but please enquire for any others not stated).

Our products are bespoke and unique (hand made with hide) and because of this, our prices vary depending on your requirements. Please email, message, or call to enquire about what we can make to suit you. Every item is handmade to order, from start to finish. I do not carry any pre-made stock. Please allow 10-14 days for me to hand make and post your item(s). Once your order is placed, it will be added to my list of things to make on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. It is essential that I see a picture of your pooch prior to making the collars/leads as I like to see who I’m making them for. My products include:
Simple but smart and hard-wearing flat leather dog collars. Fitted with a choice of solid brass or nickel-plated brass (silver) roller buckle and a matching strong cast dee to attach your lead and ID tag. There are 4 colours of fabulous bridle leather to choose from and various colours for the soft padded linings and the thread so you can mix and match. Just ask what colours we have available and we can source it to suit your needs.

This is a more luxurious version of the Classic leather dog collar with the added comfort of a soft padded leather lining. Available in 3 colours of fabulous bridle leather and colour choices for the soft padded linings and thread so you can mix and match.
British bridle leather sight-hound collars are suitable for any of the hound breeds, giving support and protection. This includes typical breeds like lurchers, greyhounds, wolf and deerhounds and whippets but also other hunting breeds with long slender necks like pointers.
There are the classic wide tapering buckled collars, half-chokes (often called martingales) with a circle chain for added control. Collars are all made in a choice of colours, lengths & widths. A soft padded leather lining is available as an optional extra. All of the collars are individually handmade & hand-stitched and have solid brass or nickel fittings.
Leather half-choke dog collars are good control collars for use in training and walking dogs on a lead or in the show ring. For safety, this type of collar is not recommended to be left on your dog if unsupervised because they can fall off over the head or your dog could get a paw caught in the chain. They are available as an adjustable collar, with options for opening (buckle opens completely and non-opening versions), the latter has to be passed over the dog’s head to be fitted.
They’re also available as a wide Martingale sight-hound half-choke collars, which are ideal for all breeds with long slender necks. Please note these two versions have to be fitted by passing over your dog’s head. Choose from a range of colours, widths & sizes, all with either solid brass or nickel-plated (silver) brass chains and buckles. The half-choke hound collars also have an optional soft padded leather lining.
Simple flat bridle leather slip (choker) dog collars with 2 strong solid cast brass or nickel-plated rings. These are useful for training your dog to walk on the lead without pulling. They’re available in a range of widths, sizes and colours to suit smaller dogs up to huge dogs for that extra control! Choose a length and width appropriate to the size and type of dog though the finer ones can be used in the show ring but are not suitable on strong dogs for everyday use.
Fitted and used correctly, these collars should be positioned at the top of the neck, just behind the ears so this is where you need to measure for size. They are not recommended to be left on the dog unsupervised, for safety. For sizing, the length of the collar is similar to that of a buckled collar, so make sure you can comfortably pass a piece of string or fabric tape measure this over your dog’s head to get the measurement.
Have the option of personalising your dog’s collar, whether it be with your dog’s name, nickname, or even your phone number, ideal if you dog has a habit of losing their name tags! The name or number is subtly stamped into the leather, allowing for that personalised touch but without taking away the aesthetics of the collar.
You need to tape measure around the dogs neck so not too tight, measuring 3 sizes, 1, 2 and 3 and the collar will be measured to the 2 fitting, using the middle of 3 holes.
